ISO 9001:2008 is the globally implemented standard for quality management systems. The quality standards are set by ISO (the International Organization for Standardization).
ISO 22000:2005 (HACCP) sets the requirements for food safety systems and is closely incorporated with the quality management standards of ISO 9001:2008. The food safety standards are also set by ISO.
BRC Global Standards are a leading quality certification program recognized by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and used widely by suppliers and global retailers. They focus on food safety and consumer protection and facilitate standardization in quality, safety and operations.
IFS (International Featured Standard) Food is a standard for auditing food safety and quality of processes and products of food manufacturers. The standard was initially designed by the German, French and Italian retail federations as their food safety standard. It is recognized internationally and sets requirements related to specifications' compliance.

OHSAS 18001 is British standard for occupational health and safety management systems. The standard has been adopted internationally and sets requirements for the development of a policy and objectives to manage effectively health and safety in the workplace.

GLOBAL GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) sets voluntary standards on producing food safely, minimizing the environmental impact of farming, and adopting a responsible approach to worker health and safety as well as to animal welfare.
ISO 14001:2004 sets the requirements for environmental management systems and helps organizations to optimize their operations in order to minimize their environmental impact. The standards are set by ISO (the International Organization for Standardization).
